The School-Workshop on Data Analysis and Mathematical Modeling of Social Science aims to introduce students and researchers to various topics in the field of social science. This event will cover theoretical, experimental and computational aspects and current trends in the broad area of social research, including dynamical processes in socio-economic systems, generation and analysis of big data, laboratory behavioral experiments and analysis of human mobility patterns. The event will address five different areas of social science, and will be organized in morning courses, early afternoon lectures, and late afternoon poster sessions. Each invited Professor will teach a three-hour course for undergraduate and graduate students, explaining the main concepts and tools of a particular area, and will also give a plenary talk.
