The plenary talks (1-6) will be given by Alicia Dickenstein, Gloria Bonder, Carolina Vera, Elizabeth Jelin, Lilia Meza-Montes and Rocío Duque Santa María (still not confirmed). There will also be an information talk about possible collaborations between latin american countries. For more information, please the the list of invited speakers.
There will be two round table sessions, one on “Gender equity in scientific and academic institutions: steps to move forward” and another on “Teaching science with gender perspective”. Besides the speakers and organizers, Dora Barrancos, Graciela Morgade and Vera Brudny will participate in the round table sessions.
There will be a workshop on paper writing lead by Susana Gallardo.
There will be discussion forums on several subjects, in particular, those addressed during the round table sessions. The goal is to generate a list of concrete proposal that the participants may present in the corresponding areas.
To facilitate the possibility of future collaborations, there will be a poster session where the participants will be able to showcase their research.
