{"id":124,"date":"2019-05-01T20:50:18","date_gmt":"2019-05-01T20:50:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.df.uba.ar\/ggapsla\/?page_id=124"},"modified":"2020-06-11T13:18:42","modified_gmt":"2020-06-11T13:18:42","slug":"workshop-at-ictp-saifr-october-2019","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/wp.df.uba.ar\/ggapsla\/workshop-at-ictp-saifr-october-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop at ICTP-SAIFR, October 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As agreed in Bogota, we had a regional activity to discuss the results on the Latin American situation collected through the <a href=\"https:\/\/gender-gap-in-science.org\/2019\/01\/04\/answers-to-the-global-survey-of-scientists\/\">Global Survey of Scientists <\/a>and talk about the contents of the book <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.df.uba.ar\/ggapsla\/the-book\/\">\u201cLa brecha de g\u00e9nero en Matem\u00e1ticas, Computaci\u00f3n y Ciencias Naturales: Un Abordaje desde Am\u00e9rica Latina\u201d<\/a>, that, with the edition of Lilia Meza (Puebla, Mexico) and Silvina Ponce Dawson (Buenos Aires, Argentina) was published by the Mexican Physical Society. The regional activity was held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ictp-saifr.org\/workshop-on-skills-for-young-scientists-increasing-diversity-in-stem\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ICTP-SAIFR in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on October 7-11, 2019.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the survey, it was open from May through December, 2018, and collected over 34,000 responses (4,034 from Latin America).
